Getting started

.PDF and STEP are preferred, but we can work with most major formats.

Absolutely. Every quote includes manufacturability insights, and we’ll redline files with recommendations.

Expect quote responses within three to five business days. Prototype lead times are often within two to three weeks. Production timelines vary based on part complexity, volume and material.

We support everything from initial prototypes to full production volumes. Order requirements depend on the part, process and material.

Yes, our in-house tool shop can produce all check and weld fixtures.

Working with Bauer Tube Fabrication

After reviewing your print, quantities and schedule, our team provides a quote with DFM feedback, reviews quality or documentation requirements, and aligns on next steps for prototype, first article/PPAP or production readiness. If needed, we can also schedule a facility visit so you can see our operation firsthand.

Quality is built into our process from the start. We use DFM reviews, documented quality controls, fixture-based verification and first article/PPAP support to reduce risk before parts ever reach your floor. If your program has specific quality requirements, we’ll align on them up front.

If an issue occurs, we address it quickly and directly. Our team uses fixture-based verification and in-process checks to catch problems early. If something falls outside requirements, we investigate the cause, correct it and re-verify before moving forward.

Through direct communication between your team and ours. We review how the change affects manufacturability, tooling, timing and cost, to align on the right plan and avoid downstream issues before production continues.

Customers consistently choose Bauer because we communicate clearly, set realistic schedules and deliver dependable performance. If you have program-specific delivery requirements, we can review them during quoting and onboarding.

We reduce risk by keeping bending, welding, fabrication and quality control under one roof. This offers simpler planning, fewer handoffs and faster communication. If priorities shift, we work with you directly to adjust schedules and protect critical milestones.

Yes, you’re welcome to visit our facility and see our equipment, quality systems and overall operation before moving forward.

Prototype-to-production services

Yes, our team can handle initial prototyping to full-scale production.

Yes, our in-house capabilities support everything you need to deliver complex weldment prototypes. You can move from prototype to production without switching suppliers midstream.

Welding capabilities

Yes, we use robotic MIG for repeatable throughput, and manual MIG/TIG for complex geometries, stainless/aluminum work and joints that don’t fit well in a robotic cell.

Carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum. If you have a specialty alloy, send the specs and we’ll confirm capabilities.

Robotic welding is fixture-dependent, but typical fixture footprints range from roughly 1’×1′ up to ~4’×8′.

Yes, when required, we can support in-house pressure/hydrostatic testing for fluid-holding weldments.

Quality assurance

We maintain a current list of AWS certifications and can pursue additional codes as necessary.

Integrated processes, tooling templates and real-time communication, engineer to engineer.
